Lambo’s Puppy Palace is a local dog grooming and care destination in Vancouver’s West End. We are on Davie Street, in the middle of a neighbourhood full of dogs — which is exactly where a place like this should be.

Patience first

Grooming is not a race. A dog who is nervous about the dryer, or who has never had their paws held, needs time — and time is the one thing most busy salons will not give. We would rather do less in one visit and have your dog walk back in happily next time.

Gentle handling, every time

Everything we do is built around how the dog is feeling. We watch for the signs that a dog has had enough, and we stop. If a coat is badly matted, we will not brush at it for an hour because the owner wants length kept — we will explain why a shorter cut is kinder, and let you decide with the full picture.

A clean, calm room

Clean is not just about looking tidy. It is about a space that does not smell overwhelming to a dog, is not chaotic, and is not loud. Small things — a quiet corner, a tidy floor, the dryer on the lowest setting that will do the job — make an enormous difference to how the day goes.

We want to know your dog — what they hate, what settles them, whether they like being talked to or would rather be left in peace. Over a few visits that adds up to a groom that fits your dog specifically, rather than a standard package applied to whatever walks in.
